144 pages of creative inspiration to help you dig into the Word!

Just one note before we proceed…My post today contains affiliate links.  If you purchase items through my links I will receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.  Being on the Bible Journaling Launch Team means I receive the products at no charge to me from Dayspring to give my honest reviews and opinions to you!  Thank you in advance for shopping my links!

This hard cover, spiral bound book is perfect for beginner Bible Journalers or those interested in Bible Journaling but who haven’t committed yet.

Readers are welcomed by Shanna in the beginning of the workbook and reminded that the heart of this all is JESUS!  That message comes through every section of this book.  Shanna then introduces herself and her talented friends – Elaine Davis, Heather Greenwood, Cristin Howell, Jillian Ungerbuehler, April Crosier, Llanet Fernandez & LaQuisha Hall.  They provide some great advice for beginners and share their heart for Jesus!  I follow all of these sisters in Christ on social media  – if you don’t – I have provided their Instagram handles below so you can! What are you waiting for? 🙂

This book is filled with each contributor presenting fun techniques that they enjoy using in their journaling. There is also blank space after each chapter to try it out for yourself – to get messy with watercolors, stencils, washi tape, and more!  If you are in need of Bible Journaling Supplies click here for some easy and fun Illustrated Faith products.  15 lessons, or sections, in total to introduce many aspects of Bible Journaling throughout this workbook!

I think that everyone who worships in this creative way eventually gets asked: “What is Bible Journaling?”  Right away Shanna provides a great explanation of not only what it is but also the heart behind it.

After explaining how to start creating in the Word – the workbook guides you through many different techniques from stamping, painting, stickering, hand lettering, and even making fabric clips!

Each contributor gives their own tips, tricks, inspirations, and supply lists.  Making it so easy to follow along and try your own page!  That is exactly what I did with Section 1:5 by Jillian!  I loved her idea of using punched hexagons from card stock to decorate the margin around her main point and prayer.  She journaled Revelation 3:20 and it was inspired from a Bible Study she had in her small group.

After listening to worship music and spending time in prayer – I journaled Nehemiah 1:9 “But if you return to Me and obey My commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for My Name.”  I used my cutter to make hexagons just as Jillian did and glued them to my page.  I added the phrase the spoke to me using alpha stamps and alpha stickers.  I finished with enamel heartswordfetti stickers, and washi tape!

Hope you enjoyed this review!  I am looking forward to hearing your questions or comments about this workbook!  I know you will love it and it would be the perfect gift for those who enjoy worshiping creatively! Shanna, her friends and Dayspring put together an amazing workbook for us.  Like I mentioned earlier the pre sale starts today.  You can purchase your book here from Dayspring.  The first 600 people who purchase a book will receive a free pen set valued at $7!  (one set per order no matter how many books are ordered.)  Thank you in advance for shopping my links.
