Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop with Blessed Harvest Stamp Set

Hello Everyone!  Thanks for stopping by the Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop!  As usual Joy Clair has come up with some very exciting and creative new stamp sets! I will be using the Blessed Harvest Set for my Bible page.  This set includes a cute tractor, windmill, sunflower, corn stalk, wheat bundle and many great sayings!  I chose the Parable of the Farmer scattering seed in Mark 4, specifically focusing on verses 13-20.

I started by stamping the windmill and tractor on white cardstock.  I cut them out and positioned them where I desired on the page.  I also added a border of green grass washi tape to the bottom of the page.

I wanted the word Harvest in the center of the page so I used alpha stickers in white and outlined them with a black pen.  I also used the black pen to underline the entire scripture. I added the ‘growing in His grace’ stamp and also the wheat above the tractor near the bottom of the page.

I wanted to use the corn stalk to make a corn field.  I used some watercolor crayons in different shades of green with a water brush to make a background for the field on the top of the page.

I then used the corn stalk stamp on the dried watercolor.

I always like to put tabs on the top of my Bible pages. I usually pick themes to put on the tabs and the ‘sow’ and ‘reap’ stamps were perfect for this page.  I also added the windmill to the tab and had it stick out on the top of the page.  I finished the page off with a date stamp.

I hope you enjoyed this page and that you will continue on the Joy Clair Blog Hop below to see all of the design team creations with this newest stamp release! And be sure to enter our $25 gift card giveaway!
