Joy Clair Best Buds & Get Well Wishes Stamp Set Journaling Cards

Hi Friends! I am very excited to announce that Joy Clair Stamps and My Sweet Petunia have partnered up for the month of March!  I will be using their Original MISTI Laser Etched for my Joy Clair projects this month.  If you would like one or would like to have more information regarding their stamping tools, click here!  The MISTI has made my stamping process easy and seamless!28471671_10155148066947854_401188754865722176_n

I have always loved getting mail.  I think my love grew for it while I was in college.  Nothing was better than opening my little mail box and seeing it burst at the seams with happy mail!  I also love sending mail and I typically always include some little gift, bookmark, or journaling accessory in the card that I send.  I used the Joy Clair Stamp Sets: Get Well Wishes and Best Buds, and my MISTI to make this cute journaling card.  Both of these stamp sets have adorable images and phrases to use for whatever your project may be!28276506_10213780449219003_1554534044860370802_n

First I selected the paper I wanted to use for the border, background and sun.  I used a paper cutter to trim everything down to size. 28279216_10213780453699115_3420528626529482998_n

I used the MISTI to carefully place the sun, text and turtle in place.  The MISTI is a great tool to utilize for stamping.  I appreciated being able to reink the stamp and place it in the exact same location again for a darker image.

I used white cardstock for the turtle so he would stand out more on the page. I glued the sun and turtle onto the card with the background.  Very easy – but so cute to send to a family member or friend who may need some encouragement! 28377754_10213780455579162_4377520799965282313_n
